Sebastiano Satta

Sebastiano Satta, more commonly known as Pipieddu, a poet, lawyer and journalist born in Nuoro on 21 May 1867. He was instrumental in rendering poetry in Sardinian popular.
One of his most famous poems, “Su battizzu” is sung by the Nuoro choir.
